How we collect, use and protect your personal data.

Who we are
York Immigration (head office: SCO-9, Sector-80, Opposite CP67 Mall, Airport Road, Mohali, Punjab 160055) is an independent private visa and immigration consultancy. We decide how your personal data is used, and are responsible for protecting it.
What we collect
Through our forms we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, city, the visa you are interested in, and basic information such as age range, education, English test and travel history. We ask only for what we need to help you.
Visa documents
When you apply for a visa online, you upload documents such as your passport pages, photo, bookings and bank statements. They are stored in private, access-controlled storage, used only to prepare and submit your application, and shared only with the relevant government or its authorised visa partner.
Why we use it
We use your details to call you back, give you counselling and — if you become a client — prepare your visa application. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes without asking you.
Your consent
You give consent by ticking the box on our forms. You can withdraw it at any time by calling, WhatsApping or emailing us, and we will stop using your details for that purpose. Client photos or videos are only published with the client's separate written consent, and are taken down if that consent is withdrawn.
Who processes it for us
Our website is hosted by Vercel, form submissions and documents are stored with Supabase, our team is notified of new enquiries by email through Resend, online payments are processed by Razorpay (we never see or store your card details), and messages you type into our website chat assistant are processed by Anthropic to generate replies. These service providers process data only on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside India.
Cookies and advertising
We advertise on Google. When you visit our website, the Google tag may set cookies that tell us whether a visit from one of our ads led to a completed enquiry form, a tap on our phone number or a tap on WhatsApp. We do not send your name, phone number, messages or documents to Google, and we do not use this data for ad personalisation. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal, are not tracked for advertising. You can control the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an application are deleted after 24 months. Uploaded visa documents are deleted 90 days after a final decision on your application, and unfinished applications after 30 days. Payment and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, or nominate someone to act for you. Contact our grievance officer at info@yorkimmigration.in or 96094-96096. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
