The 10-day course
Each day your trainer teaches the rules live, answers your questions, then you practise on a sample file. By day 10 you have built five complete files.

The industry, the law and ethics
How the visa industry in Punjab runs. Licensing under the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, who may charge for Canadian visa advice, consumer protection, client data protection and fraud.
Case studies of files that went wrong, and why
Day 02
Counselling and profile assessment
Reading a profile: education, study gaps, English scores, funds and family ties. Choosing the right country and visa, giving honest advice and putting the service in a written agreement.

UK study visa — part 1
Universities and the CAS, English requirements (IELTS, PTE, MOI), maintenance funds and the 28-day rule, the TB test.

Questions
Who can join?
Anyone aged 18 or over who has passed 12th. You don't need any experience in visas or travel, but you should be comfortable reading English documents.
How are the classes held?
Every class is live online: one York trainer teaches a batch of up to 15 students, about 3 hours a day, and answers questions as you go. You need a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection. We send the joining link once your batch is confirmed.
Is the certificate recognised by the government?
No. It is a private training certificate from York Immigration that shows you completed the course and passed our test. It is not a government qualification or licence.
Can I file visas for clients after the course?
To charge clients for visa consultancy in Punjab, you need your own licence from the Deputy Commissioner under the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act. For Canada, only a licensed Canadian immigration consultant (RCIC) or a Canadian lawyer may charge for visa advice or filing, wherever they are based. You can also refer clients to a licensed consultancy, such as York Immigration as an associate.
Do you promise a job or an income?
No. We teach you the skill and give you practice and feedback. Finding a role or clients is up to you, and the Pro course includes interview preparation.
Do I use real client documents?
No. Every practice file uses sample (dummy) client profiles, so no real person's passport or bank details are ever shared in class.
How do I pay?
Nothing is paid on this website. After you register, our team calls you to confirm the batch dates, timing and fee. Fees are plus 18% GST, and you get a GST invoice.
